Dr. Arina Khan specializes in hydrogeology and groundwater resources. Her research focuses on groundwater quality, land-use change, and sustainable water management, with particular emphasis on the application of GIS and remote sensing techniques. She has contributed extensively to the field through peer-reviewed journal articles, book chapters, conference abstracts, and presentations. She has also served as a Junior and Senior Research Fellow under the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), Government of India.
Dr. Khan earned her PhD in Geology from Aligarh Muslim University, India, in 2014, where her research centered on GIS-based aquifer vulnerability assessment and groundwater hydrochemistry in the Upper Ganges Basin.
